Holy S*&%! Warren Buffet, the best investor in the world and Director of Berkshire Hathaway Mutual Fund, just bought the entire BNSF Railroad. As you may know, he lives in Omaha NE. And yes, he likes BNSF. What is the industry going to do with a class 1 that is run by someone with a brain, someone who understands business, someone who undoubtebly will replace all the lackey's and yes-men with educated, intelligent managers? WOW!
I predicte copy-catting by UP and the end of the whip, after a huge share-value-loss.

Funny how the UP and Buffet have spent their whole life in Omaha, NE, yet Buffet wants nothing to do with the UP. Buffet is all about smart management, that is why he has been buying up shares of BNSF he sees potential. I wonder what he sees in the UP? |
